Diva Sensai is a collection of 150 patches for u-he’s Diva. This project is near and dear to my heart, having been influenced greatly by artists, I have admired for many years. It focuses on soft and ambient cinematic sounds. A throwback, spanning from the early sound of Japanese synth and new wave music to today’s cinematic experimental/ambient film scores, it is best suited for underscore/experimental styles of music. Diva Sensai delivers fluid and ambient arpeggios, animated atmospheres, ambient pads, low impact basses and bass lines, subdued mellow keys, sub percussion hits, ambient gongs and inspiring synths. These sounds borrow from a variety of influential artists such as Yellow Magic Orchestra, Japan, David Sylvian, Richard Barbieri, William Orbit, Ulrich Schnauss, Air and noted composers such as Ryuichi Sakamoto, Kevin Shields and Jonny Greenwood. Many patches offer added adaptability programmed into the modwheel, to make these sounds come alive.
