VCL-4 is a faithful emulation of the silver face revision of the op-amp-based successor of THE classic late 60s opto leveler. It provides you with unintrusive to extreme program dependent and musical opto compression. The switchable ratio option makes for a flexible solution over a wide range of source material. During the modeling process Fuse Audio Labs rebuilt the entire original circuit on strip board, however replacing the original opto-cells that were made up of an LED and an photoresistor with suitable Vactrols. Every part of the circuit including the receiver stage, the side-chain and Vactrol LED driver circuit, the Vactrol itself as well as the push-pull driver stage and the output transformer has been accurately modeled.
Into the deep funky waters of the French filter house scene once again with Daft Funk 3. If you’ve checked out the previous volumes, no explanation will be needed. For those who missed out, though… Some of the most iconic dance music of the last 25 years originated in France, spearheading the filter Electro sound. Characteristic of the genre are straight four-to-the-floor kicks and claps, with a musically rich, heavily filtered disco/funk/soul influence. The essential main grooves are usually sampled from records, imparting the live feel of original 60s, 70s and 80s funk and soul cuts. Of course, this kind of sampling is a risky business that can lead to lengthy legal battles when samples aren’t cleared for usage. With Daft Funk 3 though, you can avoid all that hassle, as we bring you the sounds of authentic sampled, filtered grooves right out of the box, totally royalty-free!

We took an amazing sounding vintage Gretsch kit, miced it with vintage mics and recorded to tape with tube gear. Just enough grit for both modern and vintage productions!

This is one epoch collection of revolutionized recordings and an overdose of technique all in a short trip. „60s psychedelic Rock“ takes you back to this state of consciousness. Analogue signal-flows and tape-compressions create the precise, authentic sound and illuminate acoustic illusions while a kaleidoscope of instruments brings all tone colors to glow in unheard colors.
Horns makes it possible for the first time to change a single voice within a brass section, and adjust it to the individual composer’s needs. Unbelievable but true: no other plug-in lets you create such a flexible, authentic-sounding brass section as easily as this. Key, tempo, scale – everything can be changed at the touch of a button and automatically synced. All this is possible through a combination of live-recorded licks and phrases and the unique Elastik engine. Styles vary from 60s/70s Soul and Funk, Disco, 80s Pop, 90s Acid Jazz, Nu Jazz, Rock, Funk, House, RnB, HipHop up to the most current hit productions.
Vintage Horns 2 is a collection of virtual instruments specifically designed to emulate the sound of horn players from the 60s and 70s, including such classic styles as Vintage Funk & Soul, Cool Jazz, Roadhouse R&B and Rock ’n’ Roll, 60s Pop Rock, Vintage Film Noir, and Soul Jazz. Like its best-selling predecessor, Vintage Horns, Vintage Horns 2 was not designed to be a perfect, pristine-sounding virtual instrument. Instead, our goal was to create a collection of brass and woodwind instruments that captured the character of horn players from the 60s and 70s, including the quirks and minor imperfections that made them sound so good.

Break Geek DNB is our first pack in a new series of drum & percussion loops (+ one shots) inspired by vintage drum breaks. This one is aimed for Drum’n’Bass producers but there’s a lot of material which you could easily incorporate into other music genres. Especially if you prefer to chop samples instead of using them as a whole loops. It’s obvious that our loops weren’t created in the 60s or 70s like most of the classic breaks but our stuff has one main advantage over those gems from the past: it’s all new, original and never heard before material, which is easy to work with because it was created with music producer’s needs in mind. A lot of attention went into sound design part of this project to make it sound as real as possible. It’s also important to mention that you won’t find here any over-saturated or flat, over-compressed sounds – there’s plenty of headroom left for additional sound design.
The bar on authentic funk guitar and bass loops has just been raised. Introducing Charlie Hunter Funk Guitar, the most comprehensive (and funky) loop library ever produced. Focusing on iconic funk and r&b grooves from the ’60s, ’70s and ’80s, Charlie Hunter Funk Guitar is the first library of its kind to accurately represent the sounds, feel and “vibe” of legendary artists like James Brown, Booker T. & the M.G.’s, Parliament Funkadelic and many others, all in one loop pack. This massive library features 11 complete sessions, each containing separate bass guitar, tenor guitar, rhythm guitar and lead guitar, allowing you to easily drag, drop, arrange and mix your own custom guitar “ensemble”.
Inspired by the experimental sounds of the 60s and 70s, this eclectic set of dream-like instruments and textures is ideal for soundtracks, film scores, or anyone looking to spark offbeat production ideas Processed and recorded using analogue equipment and effects, many of the instruments in this pack have been given an otherworldly sonic character through a simple yet classic production technique: they’ve been reversed. Analog synths, retro guitars and classic South Asian instruments sit alongside jukebox-style vocal snippets, hollow-bodied bass lines and warped old records played backwards – a soundset reminiscent of 60s and 70s experimentation.
Funk and Soul Keys – a timeless collection of iconic Keys. Provided for you 100% royalty free, this is the ultimate collection of Keys from one of the guys who was there in the 1960s, and stayed true to the sound. Bill King has toured both the east coast and west coast of America with soul bands for decades. Inspired by the music of the 1960s, including Otis Redding, the Markeys, Bobby ‘Blue’ Bland, Lowell Folsum and Wilson Pickett – Bill has dedicated his life to playing and producing music with Funk and Soul at its heart. He’ll take you on a journey back to the days when Ray Charles was playing a Wurlizter, Booker T. Jones was on the Hohner Clavinet C, and every club had a Hammond B-3 organ, and an acoustic piano.
Drum & Bass, Breaks, Jungle… these are a necessity. Although we didn’t create these infamous samples, we have compiled a whole bunch of them for you. These samples have been around since the late 60’s and can be found in many famous tracks.
